It is my hope that I can provide the Vietnam living history buff or reenactor with a solid source of reference material to recreate a good accurate recreation of the Vietnam experience.

Information on this site were obtained through a great many sources. A lot of books, interviews with veterans, discussions with historians. Knowledge was obtained thanks to the efforts of people dedicated to the accuracy of historical context. To name just a few:
Paul W. Miraldi – Uniforms and Equipment of U.S. Army Infantry, LRRPS and Rangers in Vietnam circo 1965-1971 and Uniforms and Equipment of U.S. Military Advisors in Vietnam 1957-1972.
Kevin Lyles – Vietnam: U. S Uniforms in Color Photographs
Shelby Stanton – U.S. Army Uniforms of the Vietnam War
Also Department of Defense technical manuals and training circulars of the Vietnam period.
There are a number of photographs on this web site that were salvaged from a defunct web site, regretably the credits for these photos were not among the information recovered. I would very much like to add credits for the photos if this information could be discovered.
Hello Dave,
I work with a video production company out of West Palm Beach FL.
We are trying to shoot a Vietnam scene involving a military truck and a anti aircraft weapon. Any thoughts on resources to rent these items? I have not had much luck. Any ideas would be a great help.
Best Regards,
Josh
Josh,
There is a company here in town called Cinespecialist. The owner is Tim McGill. He does exactly this sort of thing. I have given him your contact info and a copy of your note.
